TWiP: Amazing Spider-Man #633, Hellblazer #268

OK, let's get this out of the way first. Here it is, courtesy of Chris Bachalo: lizards and underwear.

A scene from Amazing Spider-Man #633

If you break off a lizard's pink bra it will grow back in time.

Now we should move past this debacle and see how John Constantine's day is going in this week's issue of Hellblazer!

A scene from Hellblazer #268, removing his arm.

Whoops!

Uhmm...

A scene from Hellblazer #268, John Constantine cutting off his arm.

Whoops again!

Oh my!

A scene from Hellblazer #268, John Constantine cuts off his own thumb.

Oh butterfingers!

I'm... I'm sure that is not as bad as it looks...

Well, looks like everyone had a fun week, lizards and appendages included!

TWiP: Prince of Power #2, Avengers Academy #1

This Week in Pictures we see how big a "package" the protagonist of Chew carries around with him. Unfortunately, snakes and monsters always trump dongs!

First up, in Prince of Power #2 we see a funny bit of staging during a fight between Amadeus Cho and Thor. Amadeus is pretty much cleaning Thor's clock. He's a great character, one of the few Asian super heroes around, and his "power" is literally how dang smart he is. I'm a big fan of Cho. And this bit of outsmarting Thor as written by Greg Pak and Fred Van Lente then drawn by Reilly Brown made me laugh.

A scene from Prince of Power 2, Cho rides Thor's hammer away.

Cho uses Thor's hammer to escape the fight...

A scene from Prince of Power 2 where Thor calls back his hammer and Cho has booby trapped it.

...but he let's Thor have it back.

And now a puzzle! Let's see if you can spot the adorable red skull monster in Avengers Academy #1, as drawn by Mike McKone.

A scene from Avengers Academy 1 with the team discovering the real reason they're there. Also Mettle looks adorable.

Where could he be!?!?

TWiP: Irredeemable #14

This week in pictures we saw adorable little bespectacled girls in Demo and we saw adorable little Gods of Thunder in Thor and the Warriors Four. BUT the most adorable thing I saw this week was...

This demon being all smiles.

A scene from Irredeemable #14 featuring a very creepy demon giving a very creepy smile.

This is the same face I make for family photos.

Such a happy boy!

TWiP: The Incredibles #9, Batman Streets of Gotham #12

This week in pictures we got slappings from Elasti-Girl and the ultimate master plan to defeat Batman.

First off, Elasti-Girl has been forced to work with the woman who helped Syndrome attack her family in the Incredibles film. Also, she tried to seduce her husband. Even if Mirage wasn't evil and redeemed herself in the end, this is a pretty satisfying four panels from Marcio Takara.

A scene from Incredibles #9 where Elasti-Girl slaps Mirage a lot.

This has been a long time coming.

Also, the fact this occurs on an airplane which is about to be blown up by missiles, makes this that much more of a sweet call back to the film.

Following that, we got a new villain's fool proof plan to kill Batman by Dustin Nguyen!

A scene from Streets of Gotham featuring crayon drawn booby traps.

I see no flaws in this plan. I'm worried for Batman's safety.

Batman's doomed.

TWiP: Red Hulk #4

This Week in Pictures we focus on Red Hulk #4 and the appearance of a possible future where M.O.D.O.K. and The Leader have taken over the world. Naturally, they've also undergone cosmetic surgery prevent those they rule from being super grossed out.

Unfortunately for M.O.D.O.K. this has an unintended side effect...

A scene from Red Hulk 4 featuring versions of M.O.D.O.K., The Leader, and Doctor Doom from an alternate universe.

I'm never wanted to pinch M.O.D.O.K.'s cheeks until now.

He looks like a bulldog! It's adorable! I just want to grab his face and smoosh it all forward. Whoooo's a good Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing? Yes! You are! You're a good Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing!
